1.1 Overview

Welcome to the extend5 family of Acucorp solutions! We are pleased to have you as a customer. This Getting Started guide contains the information you need to begin using your Acucorp products. If you need assistance, refer to section 5.1 Technical Support.

• Chapter 1 contains instructions for installing and licensing your software. Instructions are given in a separate section for each class of machine and operating system supported.
• Chapter 2 provides information on what to do in some special circumstances, such as when you have multiple versions of a product on the same machine, or you are ready to deploy an application built using ACUCOBOL-GT.
• Chapter 3 contains some common questions and answers about installation and license files.
• Chapter 4 covers the requirements of UNIX license file management.
• Chapter 5 introduces some of the support services that Acucorp has to offer.

Refer to the Quick Start cards included with your products for a quick installation reference. For more detailed information about ACUCOBOL-GT and other products, such as AcuServer^TM and Acu4GL^TM, refer to your online help files.
