While the rest of this chapter contains detailed instructions for installing your software, the process is really quite simple. The following steps must be performed to install Acucorp products on any platform:
1. Choose a directory for your Acucorp products. (You may select the defaults.)
2. Insert the media containing your Acucorp products into the appropriate drive.
3. Run the setup or install program or unload the media. (This process varies depending on your operating system. Refer to the appropriate section below for specific instructions.)
4. Create your software license file using the Activator utility described below. The setup or install program will prompt you automatically.
5. Configure the product for use according to the directions on the Quick Start card included with your products. (If necessary, refer to the specific product's online help file.)
