Removing the acuodbcs Service (Windows Only)

You can remove the acuodbcs service in Windows environments only. Perform one of the following commands:

     acuodbcs -remove

You are asked to confirm the action. Note that this removes the AcuODBC server from the list of NT services. For more information, see section 8.5.6 "acuodbcs -remove".

The software, however, is still on your machine, and you can activate the service again by following the steps in "Starting AcuODBC Server as a Service or Daemon".

In addition to installing and removing (in Windows environments only), starting and stopping the remote SQL server, you can perform several other server functions using the following acuodbcs commands. This section also provides additional information on the commands used to install, start, stop, and remove the service.
