8.5.6 acuodbcs -remove

"acuodbcs -remove" is for Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers only. It shuts down the AcuODBC Server (if it is not already shut down), removes the Windows NT/2000 service for AcuODBCS, and removes the service's stored startup parameters.

Optional arguments to "-remove" include:

Option Description
server Specifies the name of the server machine. If no server is specified, the server is assumed to be the local host.
-n portnum Identifies a particular instance of the acuodbcs program by port number. The "-n" must be followed by a space and then an integer, e.g., "6524". If no port number is specified, the default port (which has the service name "AcuODBCS") is removed. See "acuodbcs -install" for more information about port numbers.
