LOG-DIR* - This variable allows you to specify a directory to be used for holding the temporary files generated by the transaction management system. The value of LOG-DIR is treated as a prefix, much like FILE-PREFIX. If no directory is specified, temporary files are placed in the current directory.
Remote name notation is allowed for the LOG-DIR variable if your runtime is client-enabled. See User's Guide sections 5.2.1 and 5.2.2 for more information about client-enabled runtimes and remote name notation.
