2.3.1 Multi-tier Components

The elements of AcuODBC multiple-tier are:

• The Microsoft ODBC driver manager

• The ODBC driver for ACUCOBOL-GT data (ACUV32.DLL)

• The data dictionary generated by your ACUCOBOL-GT compiler

• WSOCK32.DLL (must be compliant with the Windows sockets API. Installed with TCP/IP software)

• AcuServer (licensed from Acucorp)

• ACUCOBOL-GT data files (Vision or relative)
