ACUCOBOL-GT is shipped to AOS/VS machines in DUMP format. Select a directory where you want ACUCOBOL-GT to reside. To read the tape, type the following commands:
DIRECTORY directory
XEQ LOAD_II/V/DELETE/NACL @device:0
where directory is the name of the desired directory and device is the name of your tape device.
After extracting the release files from the tape, read the "READ_ME" and "RELEASE" file (if present). The "READ_ME" file describes the files included with ACUCOBOL-GT. The "RELEASE" file contains changes to the compiler not covered in the printed documentation.
