The "acurcl -alias" command starts the server alias file manager utility. The utility is used to create and maintain the alias file required on the server for thin client operation. This file holds all the information that is needed to invoke the appropriate runtime on the server. To use "-alias" you must be logged onto a UNIX server as root or superuser or onto a Windows NT/Windows 2000 server from the Administrator account or from an account that belongs to the Administrators group. For a description of how to use this tool, see section 3.3.3 Creating a Server Alias File.
