1.6.2 Installation on HP e3000 Machines

Before installing your Acucorp products, log in as system manager and check to see if the ACUCOBOL account exists:

:hello manager.sys
:listacct acucobol

If you get a message saying "Non-existent account." then create it with the following command:

:newacct acucobol,mgr
:altacct acucobol;cap=+ph;access=(r,x:any;w,a,l:ac)
:altuser mgr.acucobol;cap=+ph
:altgroup pub.acucobol;cap=+ph

Note: Although not all Acucorp products are available for MPE, you can install all products from either the POSIX shell or MPE.

If your products are in STORE format, follow the directions in section 1.6.2.1 to install them within the MPE shell.

If your products are in TAR format, follow the directions in section 1.6.2.2 to install them within the POSIX shell.
