1.4.1 License Files for Extended-DOS

You may request a license file for one or more users.

There are several types of network environments that are available to Extended-DOS machines. If you have a Windows server, refer to section 1.2 above.

If you are running in a peer-to-peer networking environment that relies on DOS to handle file and record locking at the operating system level, then you must run the DOS program "SHARE" prior to executing "runext."

If you are running in a dedicated server environment, and are working with files on a local drive, you must run the program SHARE on the local drive prior to loading the network shell.

You may also place Acucorp products and license files on stand-alone machines.

When you receive your product(s) from Acucorp, the package will include product codes and product keys for every product you have ordered. You must have the product code(s) and product key(s) to create the license file.
