1.2.1.1 The Activator utility

When you install your Acucorp products, setup.exe installs the Activator utility (activator.exe) for you. It is installed in the "C:\Acucorp\Acucbl5xx\AcuGT\bin" directory by default. In some cases, you may receive the Activator executable on a floppy disk. Copy the file onto your computer and run it as you would any other executable.

Note: Use the version of the Activator that corresponds with the version of the product you are installing.

The Activator utility automates the process of creating a license file. Just launch the Activator to add a new or updated product code and product key.

Once installation is complete, the Activator utility can be launched from the Acucorp 5xx program group on the Start menu. You may also launch the Activator by double-clicking on the "activator.exe" icon.
