


The following procedure was written for Version 4.5 of Netscape Communicator. Other versions of Netscape will operate differently. (Refer to the documentation that comes with the product for instructions on configuring MIME types.) To configure Netscape Communicator Version 4.5 to use ACUCOBOL-GT as a helper application, users must do the following:
1. Start Netscape Communicator.
2. From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
3. Click the Navigator category, and then click Applications.
4. To add a helper application to the list, and click New Type (or New on UNIX).
5. Click inside each field in the box and do the following:
a. In the "Description of Type" field, type "ACUCOBOL-GT object file".
b. In the "File Extension" field, type "acu".
c. In the "MIME Type" field, type "application/vnd.acucobol".
d. In the Application to use field, type "wrun32.exe" or browse to and select the ACUCOBOL-GT runtime file "wrun32.exe". This is the command line used to launch the application. If users what to specify command line options, they may do so by typing the option after the executable name.
6. Click OK to return to the New Type dialog box, and then click OK again.
