A.1 The "acuconnect" Command

The "acuconnect" command is your control and maintenance interface to AcuConnect. The "acuconnect" command is used on the server at the command line (or with icons under Windows NT or Windows 2000) and initiates the following actions:


Note: Do not try to abbreviate the command options that are described in this appendix. For instance, do not type "-v" when you mean "-version". "-v" and "-version" mean different things to the AcuConnect runtime.
The "acuconnect" command formats on UNIX servers are:

acuconnect
acuconnect  -access
acuconnect  -info [-p portnum]
acuconnect  -kill  [-p portnum] [-f]
acuconnect  -start  [-p portnum] [-c config_file] [-d] [-l] [-e error_file] [-f] [-t#]
acuconnect  -version

The "acuconnect" command formats on Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers are:

acuconnect
acuconnect  -access
acuconnect  -info [-p portnum]
acuconnect  -install [-p portnum]

You can modify the command options for an icon by changing the properties of the icon.
