The server access file for AcuConnect is structured the same and named the same as the server access file for AcuServer. If you are using AcuServer for UNIX, you can use your existing AcuAccess file in conjunction with AcuConnect, or you can set up a separate file for AcuConnect if desired.
If you are using AcuServer for Windows NT or Windows 2000, you can use your existing AcuAccess file in conjunction with AcuConnect as well, with one caveat. If your AcuAccess file maps any username (DEFAULT_USER or local user), and that username has a password associated with it, then you must modify the AcuAccess file to include the password. In addition, that password must match the logon password on the server.
If you do not want to modify your AcuServer AcuAccess file, you can set up a separate file for AcuConnect.
