1.3.3 The ACUCOBOL-GT Plug-in and Acu4GL

The ACUCOBOL-GT Web plug-in is enabled for Acu4GL. In essence, if an Acu4GL dll file is in the path and the Acu4GL license with the same plug-in base name is in the plug-in directory, and the appropriate configuration file options are set.

The particular .dll files for supported 32-bit runtimes are as follows:

A4syb32.dll--Acu4GL for Sybase

A4sql32.dll--Acu4GL for Microsoft SQL Server

A4odbc32.dll--Acu4GL for ODBC

A4ora32.dll--Acu4GL for Oracle

A4dbm32.dll--Acu4GL for DBMaker

Important: Both Netscape and versions 5.5, Service Pack 1 and earlier of Microsoft Internet Explorer support the ACUCOBOL-GT Web Plug-in. Effective with version 5.5, Service Pack 2, Internet Explorer no longer supports Netscape-style plug-ins, such as the ACUCOBOL-GT Web Plug-in.
