


5.1.7 Configuration Variables
There are seven configuration file variables used to configure the logging
system:
- filename-LOG - specify the name of a log file
- LOGGING - enable or disable logging
- LOG-FILE - specify the name of the default log file
- LOG-BUFFER-SIZE - set the log file buffer size
- LOG-DIR - specify an alternate directory for temporary files
- LOG-DEVICE - enable or disable special device handling for the log file
- LOG-ENCRYPTION - enable or disable log encryption
