The native code generation functionality of ACUCOBOL-GT currently extends to two popular families of processors: Intel and Sparc. Generated for one of these families, the native code object file is completely portable among all the supported members of that family. The currently supported processors are:
Intel 386, 486, Pentium, Pentium II, Pentium III (and compatible); protected (32-bit) mode only.
Sparc v7, v8, v9 (and compatible); 32-bit only.
