4.1 Locating the Sample Program

During AcuODBC installation, the following icons are added to your AcuODBC program listing:

• "Acucorp Orders Program" executes an ACUCOBOL-GT program designed to manage orders. This program was used to create the sample Vision files included with AcuODBC.
• "Debug Acucorp Orders Program" allows you to run the Orders Program in debug mode.
• "Query Sample Program" executes a program that allows you to access Vision files used with the Orders Program.

Unless you specified an alternate directory during installation, the sample files are stored in the "\acucorp\acucbl50\AcuODBC\data" directory on your hard drive.

The purpose of the AcuODBC sample program is to verify that the AcuODBC installation was successful. The sample program also gives you practice working with AcuODBC.
