Using AcuServer to Access Remote Data

For ACUCOBOL-GT users, one of the easiest ways to provide access to data over the Internet is with Acucorp's file server, AcuServer. AcuServer gives users access to remote data in any client/server network that is based on the transmission control protocol/Internet protocol (TCP/IP). Since the Internet uses TCP/IP as its communications protocol, you can use AcuServer to provide access to data in this "network of all networks" as well. First, understand the basic client/server network. Then consider the architecture of the Internet network.
