9.4.3 Relinking under Windows 95 and Windows NT (Intel)

To relink the runtime for MS-Windows 95 and Windows NT (Intel), you must have the following PC/TCP libraries available on your system:

rpc4w32.lib, wsock32.lib

If you do not have these libraries, you can purchase them directly from Acucorp. Contact your local Acucorp representative or phone us at +1 619-689-4500 or (from within the U.S.) at 800-262-6585.

To relink the runtime, enter the following at the prompt:

nmake -f wrun32.mak CLIENT=

Note that the Windows 95 and Windows NT (Intel) versions of the ACUCOBOL-85 and ACUCOBOL-GT client-enabled runtimes use FTP Software's RPC4W32.DLL. This DLL is included on the ACUCOBOL-85 and ACUCOBOL-GT release media and is installed automatically when the software is loaded. By using this Dynamic Link Library you have the ability to use any vendor's TCP/IP stack, as long as it includes and uses a WINSOCK compliant WSOCK32.DLL .
