To initiate the Microsoft ODBC trace function
1. From the Windows control panel, click the ODBC icon. The Data Sources dialog box displays.
2. Highlight the ODBC driver of interest, and click the "Options. . ." button on the bottom of the screen. The ODBC Options box displays.
3. Click the check box labeled, "Trace ODBC Calls." If you want ODBC tracing to stop automatically, click the corresponding check box as well.
4. By default, the trace file is placed in the root directory, under the name "sql.log". To change the file or pathname of the trace file, click "Select File..." In the resulting dialog box, change the filename, directory, or both as desired. Click "OK" when you're done.
The next time AcuODBC executes, it will create a trace file and place it in the location specified.
