To cancel a query once it has been submitted, you must use the application that originated the query in the first place. For instance, if you submit a query from Word for Windows by running a WordBasic macro (by selecting "Macro" from the Tools menu and clicking "Run"), you must cancel the macro using Word for Windows as well.
